Global FDEM Workshop 2022 - Building the Future of FDEM

Welcome Message

A workshop designed to bring the evolution of the finite-discrete element method (FEDM) from its beginnings to the latest advancements in this space, all while bridging the gap between industry and academia.

We will be hosting a series of presentations from leading global FDEM experts covering aspects related hydraulic fracturing in unconventional reservoirs, slope stability in mining, blast modeling, tunneling stability, CCUS, and nuclear storage.

All workshop presenters and attendees will also have the opportunity to submit a contribution to a featured journal issue on FDEM that will be published on JRMGE in 2023.</span>
